Manifesto

The agent lowers the floor. The human raises the ceiling.

Tonpit is not a promise that you type a prompt and get a finished video.

Nobody types a prompt and gets software that survives real users. Nobody types a prompt and gets a video that survives a real audience. The people who ship with AI are the ones who put in the hours. They look, they judge, they send it back. That part never left, and Tonpit is built on it.

A new layer of tools. Tonpit gives agents proper workspaces for making video: generate, animate, write, cut, mix, export, all in one place, with a person beside them. The agent does the labor. You do the judgment.

It's built for two kinds of people. Professionals, who already know what a good cut feels like and want to reach further: add animation and generated footage to their range, run several things at once with an agent working beside them, cut the slow parts of the process down to minutes. And people who need a video and don't know where to start. The agent lowers the floor. The human raises the ceiling.

We're not trying to replace creators. We're trying to do for video what vibe coding did for software: let more people in, and hand the ones already inside a bigger lever.

The part we won't soften. Anyone can ask a model for an animation. Not everyone can say the camera move is wrong, the cut lands late, the transition does nothing. Anyone can ask for a prompt and generate a shot. Not everyone can choose the visual language that carries the feeling they're after. Anyone can ask for a moving script. Not everyone has written enough stories to know, without being able to explain it, what makes one work.

Tonpit does more in those hands. It also does more in the hands of someone willing to put in the time. Both are welcome here. We just won't pretend the difference isn't there.

What we give back. Generated video is part of reality now. There are many ways in, many working methods, and they change every month. We keep learning, keep borrowing from the community, keep testing what's new.

So everything we learn about making video with agents is open. The skills, the methods, the approaches. Open Tonpit and read them. Copy them. Take them to whatever tool you use. You don't have to pay us or stay. It's how we give back to the community we take from.

The Tonpit team. Fifteen-plus years across every corner of video making.
