Terms of Service

By accessing or using Tonpit (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using Tonpit, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Tonpit is an AI-powered typography design tool that transforms plain text into styled typography for landing pages, social media, and marketing materials. The Service includes:

• AI-generated typography designs
• Animation and motion title generation
• Export to various formats (PNG, SVG, MP4, ProRes)

Features and functionality may change as we develop the product.

During the beta period (through March 29, 2026), Tonpit is free to use without limitations. No payment information is required.

After the beta period ends, all users receive 10 free AI generation iterations at no cost. A paid subscription is required to continue using Tonpit beyond the free allocation.

During and after the beta:

• Features may be added, modified, or removed as we develop the product
• The Service may experience downtime or interruptions
• We may adjust usage limits at our discretion

To use Tonpit, you must create an account using Google authentication or email/password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

After the free tier, Tonpit requires a paid subscription.

Billing

• Subscription plans: Monthly or annual billing cycles, as displayed at the time of purchase
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card information
• Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price increases. Existing subscriptions are honored until the end of their current billing period

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain full access to Tonpit until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to a free state and your projects remain accessible but you will not be able to generate new designs.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of your first payment. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. After the 14-day window, refunds are not available for partial billing periods. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically take 5-10 business days.

Usage Limits

Each plan includes a set number of AI generation iterations per month. Unused iterations do not carry over to the next billing period. Exports are unlimited on all paid plans.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or access controls
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

Your inputs: You retain ownership of the text and content you provide to Tonpit for styling.

License grant: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our AI systems solely to provide the Service to you.

Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your input content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Tonpit uses AI (Claude by Anthropic, Gemini by Google) to generate typography designs. Regarding AI outputs:

• Ownership: You own the rights to designs generated from your inputs, subject to the limitations below
• No guarantees: AI outputs are provided “as-is.” We do not guarantee they are unique, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose
• Your responsibility: You must review all outputs before use and ensure they don't infringe third-party rights
• Commercial use: You may use outputs for commercial purposes, but you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws

We do not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs created from your inputs.

Our property: Tonpit, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by Itay Rose Ari. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Feedback: If you provide suggestions or feedback about Tonpit, we may use it without compensation or attribution to you.

Tonpit integrates with third-party services including:

• Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing (Merchant of Record)
• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI processing
• Google (Gemini API) — AI processing
• Google Firebase — Authentication and data storage
• AWS (Remotion Lambda) — Video rendering
• Google Fonts — Typography

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or issues.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated outputs will be accurate, unique, or suitable for your needs
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors will be corrected

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itay Rose Ari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Itay Rose Ari from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you create or input
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason during the beta period.

By you: You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.

For disputes under $10,000, we agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation for at least 30 days before initiating any legal proceedings.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
